During the last 20 years, Deep has had the pleasure of serving a variety of high-profile clients including SABMiller, Starbucks, Unilever, FMC Corporation, Sony, Roche, in engagements in over 30 countries.
He has also been invited to speak at several venues, such as international business conferences in the US, Latin America, and Europe. He has also been invited to give guest lectures on a variety of topics around strategy and entrepreneurship at the University of Bern, ETH-Zurich, EPFL, NYU, University of Wisconsin, and California Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Deep Parekh is a serial entrepreneur and founder of Epistemy bvba, a Belgium-based firm working on innovative solutions at the intersection of Business, Technology, Society, and Policy.
Most recently, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer & Technology Officer at Triamant NV, a disruptor in the assisted living and health-care industry in Europe, where he led the development of a blockchain-based life-tech marketplace platform.
Prior to this he served as Co-Founder and Partner at Asteroidea AG, a boutique Swiss advisory and investment firm focusing on business model transformation. He was formerly the Co-Founder and Managing Partner for the Americas and Europe at Equus, an international management-consulting firm focused on business operations. Deep has also founded a management consulting firm focused on the Latin America market, and a supply chain software (SaaS) company, both with successful exits. Prior to his journey on the course of serial entrepreneurship Deep has held many management positions at various companies, including Unilever, Ernst & Young, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Deep completed a Ph.D. (2016) in Business Model Dynamics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), funded by the CHF 1.3 million grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation, for which he also serves as the Project Leader. He has a Masters of Science in Statistics and Operations Management from Stern School of Business at New York University, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He continues to teach an executive MBA class at EPFL in Swtizerland, and if frequently invited to other institutions to give guest lectures.
